[23/12/08] Supertoys

I have spent the last few days back in Bristol and on my travels went to see what was going on at the Arnolfini. They currently have an exhibition on called 'Supertoys,' giving you opportunities to "destroy, examine and re-make toys." I got busy with a glue gun, a few old building blocks and someone's old sock. I called the guy 'Sock Block' and added him to the party. [Click here for more info]

[06/12/08] Pretty Mannox

I am currently an intern at Pretty Mannox. They are a small design studio in East London, specialising in creative branding. I have been located there for a couple of weeks now and will be keeping busy there for a while, gaining experience in the world of work.

I have just added a link on the right that you can access my Flickr photostream from. I am not really much of a photographer but I like to carry my camera around and document things that I find interesting and things that make me laugh. [Back to top]

[04/09/08] Write Your Site

I am currently re-branding writeyoursite.co.uk. It is aimed at helping you plan and write the content for your website. This is the logo I have developed and the site should be up and running within the next month or two. I am working on the project with David Gilbert who is producing a number of animations for the site, take a look at some of his work. He produces some terrifying things for such a mild mannered vegetarian. To see one of his latest offerings 'Battery' > Click Here [Back to top]

[03/09/08] Simmer Down

There is a new night going on at the Foundry in Canterbury and it is well worth checking out. You don't even have to pay to get in which means you can get more beer than usual. I have just designed the flyer for them. Here is a peek at the front and back of it. You can click on them to see them bigger too. [Back to Top]

[18/07/08] Natrel Mural Update

The mural has evolved a bit more now. Went for a walk down there with Dave earlier and this is the current state. I'm going to put a Natrel page in my work section for these photos and the future developments, so keep an eye out for that. [Back to Top]

[02/07/08] Natrel Mural

David Gilbert and myself have designed a new advert for Natrel Deodorant especially for Bristol. The project was organised by Lee and Dan Special Projects and is being produced as a growing mural. The painting will get updated every week [we created four stages] for four weeks until the final design appears. The first part is currently being painted and is up next to Temple Meads train station. [Back to Top]

[20/06/08] 254 Coronation Road

Stacey Martin, Jennifer Kuhn and myself were asked to exhibit in Conway and Young's house / old shop in Southville, with complete freedom over style and content. We only had a couple of days to think it up and decided to use the window space to help the locals with their selling and finding. After looking around the local newsagents in Southville and Bedminster we thought we could lend a helping hand to people who's biro scribbled adverts and notes sat around fading away in the sunlight. Number 254 is in a prime location and we produced a set of posters using the content from the existing ads to help them get their messages across to a wider range of people in a more engaging form. This will be up for a week, so if you fancy a new rabbit or computer monitor it might be worth checking out. Thanks to Joe Childs for staying up late with us and helping cut out letters. [14/06/08] End of Year Show

If you are passing by Bower Ashton tomorrow or next week, head over to 'The Octagon' for a look at our final year Graphics show. We had the private view last night and it was absolutely rammed... I am pretty tired now. [Back to top]

[10/06/08] Business Cards

Just got a set of these back. You can pick one up from the Graphics Show at Bower Ashton [starting this Friday] if you like. I guess if you are reading this then you don't really need a card with my contact details on but your Internet may break one day and you may need me... so maybe you should get one as a back up. [25/05/08] Fashion Show

The Fashion Show was on yesterday and me and Dave sold quite a few copies of our book, which was good. The show looked amazing. I have added photographs of the book and a few other Fashion Show pieces I made in the work section. [Back to top]

The Cafédral

This is a model I made as a tribute to my home town's embrace of café culture.'The Cafédral' would probably be a more fitting monument to what Canterbury now stands for... great lattes. This is work towards a publication documenting how the coffee shop is taking over my home. [Back to top]
